Help Kids in Foster Care Start the School Year with Confidence

Every child deserves to start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to succeed. Each summer Foster Angels of Central Texas rallies our community to make that happen for hundreds of children in foster care across Central Texas through our annual Back to School Drive.

2026 Back to School Drive Recap

  • 20 community drives

    Every dollar and in-kind donation this summer went directly toward backpacks, school supplies, and first-day-of-school outfits for children in foster care across Central Texas.

  • 146 volunteers

    82 volunteers gave their time and energy to make this drive a success, showing up to stuff backpacks, sort supplies, and ensure every child was taken care of.

  • 290+ hours of helping hands

    172+ volunteer hours poured into the 2026 Back to School Drive, because behind every backpack is a person who chose to show up for a child in foster care.
