We work closely with each young person we serve to connect them with housing, education, employment, and other essential resources based on their unique needs and goals.
Every year, over 1,000 young adults in Texas age out of the foster care system without a permanent family or a clear path forward. Without stability and support these youth face significant challenges in securing housing, education, and employment.
Within 48 hours of receiving an assistance request Foster Angels can provide:

In times of crisis, we help young adults cover their rent, or provide a deposit for an apartment and ensure they have the tools they need to cover their living expenses month-to-month.

Whether a young adult is enrolled in trade school or a four-year university we make sure any and all supplies are covered to ensure success is possible.

When young adults have a hard time accessing SNAP or food stamps, we ensure they have assistance to get the essentials.

We provide essential clothing, hygiene products, and personal care items to help ensure stability, dignity, and a sense of security as they work to build independent lives.

When young adults have big needs, we work collaboratively with agencies to make sure every need can be met to get them on their feet.

We help bridge transportation gaps that can limit access to education and employment, while also supporting current car owners in maintaining reliable access to their vehicles.
